EXPLORING MODULAR SYNTHESIS WORKSHOP
with Russell Haswell & David Burraston

Over two days we will explore and discuss sound synthesis techniques for modulars (analogue, digital, & hybrid) such as fm / am / waveshaping & wavefolding / ring mods / filters etc.
Discussion will also include the rise of the euromodular format, use of sound synthesis in film, surround sound modular synthesis, algorithmic / generative / chaotic / fractal / complex systems in a modular context.
Participants are welcome to bring their own modular(s) or explore the mindnumbing possibilities of one specially put together by David & Russell for this workshop. We might even open one up for some surgery! Workshop modules supplied coutesy of Equinoxoz.
